Who-Called is a mobile application similar to your classic calling application. However, it comes with unique and advanced settings that will enhance your phone calling experience. Who-Called allows you to: Detect unwanted callers by alerting you to strange or fraudulent calls based on community reports; Report a number as spam and block it with one click; Automatically identify, via a reverse directory, all the unknown numbers that you call and that call you; Easily find emergency phone numbers in your country; The application also offers you other features such as the ability to create reminders, hold conference calls and customize its application with themes and ringtones.

The Who-Called application is free. However, note that your calls will be charged according to your mobile plan. In addition, some app features require access via Wi-Fi or a smartphone's data connection. Please note: Your mobile operator may charge additional fees for your calls and data usage.

If you want to have access to the additional features of the application, it is necessary to set Who-Called as your default calling application. To do so, here are the steps to follow: When installing the : Answer "yes" to the request to change the default calling application if asked. In your phone's settings: Go to Applications, then to the Default Applications menu; In the Phone Application or Calling Application section, select Who-Called Disclaimer: Making the Who-Called app your default calling app does not change the call launch button that is on the phone's home screen originally. It also does not change the shortcut found on the lock screen of some phones. Instead, the application's icon will be added to your list of applications. On the other hand, we recommend that you place this new button in place of the original one in order to keep your routine.

There are several ways to block a number or a contact: From the call log, contact list or favorites Search for the contact sheet showing the associated numbers or contacts Click on the Block Callers option in the form menu If a contact has multiple phone numbers, all of their numbers will be blocked From the in-app settings, Go to Block Setting, then Block contacts at the bottom, where you will find a list of all blocked phone numbers; Click on Add Number in the lower right corner of the screen If it is a private number : Go to the application settings; Select the Blocking Settings section; Activate the anonymous call blocking service (Hidden number)

Using its algorithms, Who-Called detects spam calls when numbers are reported by community members as malicious or solicitation numbers. By the way, you can also report such numbers to protect others from phone harassment.

Yes, it is possible to make calls and manage your call log from the Who-Called application. If needed, you can also set it as your default calling application.

Of course, you can decide at any time not to participate in the transmission of this information from your settings. This option of the application promises you clear data about the transmission of your own information and gives you control over it. In fact, if you want to see the information collected, understand why it is collected and control its use by allowing or preventing its sharing, go to the privacy settings. In addition, we remind you that the sending of usage information is confidential and can be deactivated at any time: From the menu of your Who-Called application, go to "Privacy Setting". The minimum configuration to use our application is to accept the different authorizations requested. Then, define the protection mode you want among the three that are proposed to you. No. The use of the Who-Called application does not require the creation of an account. Once installed, you can use it directly. However, it is possible to create an account to save your data and retrieve them on a new phone or to access them from our website.

If you change your phone, you can download the application again. You also have the possibility to create an account to back up your data and get them on your new phone or during a future installation.

There are three levels of protection: Active protection: It detects the spammer's call and cancels it automatically. This level of protection is ideal for saving time and ensuring you are not disturbed. Passive protection: This detects unwanted calls and alerts you, so you know who is calling and what the caller's intent may be. No protection: free for life, it will allow you to know the opinion of other users for each call and will also allow you to provide your own comment to strengthen the community. Why do I need to allow certain permissions to use Who-Called? Who-Called needs your consent to access certain data on your phone to perform actions when you receive unwanted calls.

The dual sim is a technology integrated into a phone. It allows to use two sim cards simultaneously in the same phone.

Yes, you can easily use Who-Called in a dual sim phone without the need for an internal switch.

We cannot determine exactly who is behind a phone number. However, if a caller has already been reviewed, it is possible to get an idea of the real intentions of this number. In other words, if a number is considered dangerous, this will be notified on the call screen which will be red. On the other hand, if we consider that this number is safe and does not present any danger, the call screen will be green and the mention Safe will be displayed. Furthermore, it is possible we can identify companies and professionals and display their names on the call screen. On the other hand, it is impossible for us to identify precisely the number of an individual on the red list, who has not given his consent, or who has stipulated that he does not want to appear on our application and our site.

An update is a computer process that allows us to update the information on our servers. It aims to improve the performance and efficiency of our services. It is also by this means that we correct the bugs, anomalies and imperfections of the application.

The phone number database is updated to allow the application to block the latest numbers reported by the entire community. By updating the database, we are able to protect you more effectively.

If you wish to edit or delete your review on a number, here are the steps to follow: Go to the contact form of the number concerned, and click on the option that proposes to delete your review. Once it is done, you can then, at that moment, give another review if you want.

There are 2 methods to unblock a number or a contact: First: Search for the number or contact from the call history, contact list or favorites; Select the "Unblock" choice in the menu that appears on this form; In case a contact has several phone numbers, then all of them will be unblocked The second: Access the blocking settings by going to the menu of your Who-Called application; Click on Block contacts and delete the numbers you need to unblock

First, check that Who-called is defined as your default calling application and that all permissions have been granted. To do this: Go to your phone's Settings and then to Applications and then Default Applications; In the telephone application or call application choice, choose the Who-Called application; Once this is done, make sure the permissions to monitor calls and access contacts are enabled To do this: Go to your phone settings, and enter the Applications section; Select Who-Called ; In the Authorizations section: check the various boxes required If after these manipulations the problem persists, be sure to contact us from the Help menu of your application.

Fo the moment, this option is not available. However, we are working on it and it will be available in the next updates of our application.

There are two ways to hide your phone number during a call: From the telephone keypad, enter the telephone number you wish to call, click on the attachment next to the number and select the option Make a hidden call; Starting from the contact card, long press on the phone number and select the "Make a hidden call" choice However, if you want to remain anonymous for each of your calls, consult your phone's customer manual.

If you don't want to use Who-Called anymore, you can remove it. To do this, simply perform an uninstall and the application will be removed from your phone.

If you delete Who-Called, your phone's local calling application will automatically revert to your default call app. As a result, your incoming and outgoing calls will no longer go through the Who-Called protection application. Please note that the numbers you had blocked in the meantime via our application will no longer be blocked at that time. However, if you decide to create an account and save your data, then you may be able to recover your blocked information and contacts when you reinstall the application.

To review a phone number you must first report it, then write your review. Proceed as follows: Access the contact card of the number; Click on one of the available icons: SAFE, NEUTRAL or SPAM; Leave a comment on the source or nature of the issue in the required field

Of course, the Who-Called application can allow you to block hidden calls. You can make this choice if you wish. To do this, go to the application's menu and go to the blocking settings. There, activate the option to block anonymous calls.

If you wish, you can choose to only allow calls you receive from your contacts and block all other numbers you don't know. First, go to the settings of your Who-Called application and access the blocking settings. Next, check the box that states 'to block incoming calls from all numbers that are not in your contacts'. Once done, any calls you receive from unknown numbers will be automatically blocked.

To delete a call from your call history; • Open the Who-Called application ; • Click on the recent calls option; • Then press the menu represented by the 3 keys at the top right of your screen; • Select Delete Calls Check the call(s) you wish to erase; • Click on the trash can at the top right of your screen. To erase all of your call history, just tap on the two approval marks at the top of your screen and then on the trash can.

The overlay mode is a feature that allows you to take advantage of some of our application's strengths, even if it is not your default calling application. Caller ID and spam warnings are displayed directly as a banner overlay on your call screen. In addition, you have the option to automatically leave a notification about the call as soon as you hang up. Indeed, the overlay mode is an improvement of the prerogatives of the application's call button. However, it does not replace it. Nevertheless, you could benefit from some additional features such as call suggestions, quick access to emergency numbers, call history with data on spam or premium rate calls. You can enable the overlay mode from your phone settings or allow it on demand when you install the application.

The Who-Called application allows you to make multi-party calls. This allows you to set up conference calls with other people. To get started: Determine which contact you want to reach first and call them; Once the connection is established with your first participant, use the + button to reach the second; At this point, the call with the first guest will be put on hold; As soon as the second connection is successful with the second contact, press "Switch to conference mode"; You can now add the other participants by following the steps described above
