How to spot a phone scam
Phone scams play on urgency and fear. A fake bank advisor will ask you to "secure" your account by sharing your codes: no real bank does that.
Beware of one-second calls (ping calls) luring you to call back a premium-rate number, and messages about a stuck parcel or a suspended account.
When in doubt, never share credentials, hang up, and check the number on Who Called. Report it to protect others.
